  • In 2009, the foundation conducted local research to ascertain digital access, literacy, perceptions related to technology and barriers to engagement.  Specific investments to address declining local news coverage included support for a new, weekly print newspaper and creation of an online platform to facilitate information sharing related to community development strategies.
